A zero sum game

It’s a zero sum game to measure our worth by the total of our performance plus the opinions of ourselves and others.
I would like to stop measuring altogether and start calmly observing and letting go of my compulsion to compare my stuff to your stuff, my words to your words, my actions to your actions, my achievements to your achievements, and the mother of all comparisons, my self to your self.
There is no contest.
Like you, I am permanent, unalterable grace, come to life.
After all, if life is a gift, then you and I must be gifts, since we are an irreplaceable part of life.

If we truly see ourselves, even for a moment, we know;

Our lives, our work, our words and our worth are incomparable, immeasurable, and invaluable.
